Scaynes Hill is a village which dates back to the 19th century and presently has a population of around 1000 people..
It is situated on the Eastern Border of West Sussex and is on the main A272 trunk road a few miles east of Haywards Heath.
The Millennium Centre is a focus for the community and its various activties including Scouting, Line Dancing, Ball Room dancing,Martial Arts, a Playgroup as well as a popular venue for many party and Wedding events.
Many visitors to Scaynes Hill are also attracted to the local church -
St Augustine's- a beautiful building dating back to 1858 which has an impressive tapestry containing the events and signs which St John recounts in his gospels.
The tapestry is 18 feet x 10 feet and took a small number of dedicated people over 8 years to complete.
